Is a carpet pad recommended


This is a great question! If the rug has jute or cotton backing a separate rug pad is recommended to keep them secure on flooring like hardwood or tile. Non-skid rugs do not require a separate rug pad. This rug has a jute backing, please check with the flooring manufacturer to be sure a rug pad can be used on it as well. Thank you
