Does it meet the new 2014 NEMA codes and is it classified as heavy duty?


This cover is 2014 NEC compliant (article 406.9) and NEMA 3R rated, however it is not rated as Extra Duty. Our model #MM420 meets the same standards but is rated as Extra Duty and protects the outlet while it is in use rather than just the outlet itself when it is not being used. We also offer model #ML500G which can expand from 1 - 3 inches; it also meets the above standards, is Extra Duty rated and has the low profile look when it is not being utilized but can also protect and outlet while it is in use when expanded.
