Can this be used on a standard 4x4 junction box?


This cover will not work with a standard 4x4 box as the screw spacing is different. Also because this cover is weatherproof, it requires four screws while a standard 4x4 box only requires two. To use with a recessed 4x4 box, you will need to use either a 2-Gang handy box or install a flat device ring/mudring so that there are device mounting holes; and then install a metal BC200S. Or you can use the PDB77550GY or any metal 2-Gang Bell box if you are doing a surface mount installation.
