Yes the timer has a battery backup so it will hold time and timer settings through a power failure.

Was this Answer Helpful ?This has a battery for the clock, but it will NOT operate the relays and turn things on and off without power. Nor would you likely want it to! The relays are powered with the line, so not juice in, no operation. Note that the relays can be used for any purpose, as long as the load is under the rating.
