What happens to the moles after they eat the bait?will I end up with them dying underground?


If they consume the bait they will die. Most of the time underground. Sometimes they die on top. Knowing how to place the bait is the key. If anything ( dog, cat, etc.) eats the dead mole it is possible it will also die.
