The trap safe for dogs?

Seems safe for dogs since there's no sharp metal and only made of plastic. That's why it was difficult to stick in the ground.

Was this Answer Helpful ?When I set the trap I place a 5 gallon bucket, up side down, over the trap with a couple of bricks on bottom/now top.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I have a small dog (poodle). After installing the trap, the dog walked over the trap, smelled of it, then went about her business. If installed by the instructions, the trap seems to be secure in the ground with the business end underground. If a dog digs around the trap, the trap could "catch" the dog, and the springs on the trap are strong.
