can I apply Terro liquid bait directly onto base boards and tile edges

Liquid ant baits like TERRO® Ant Killer should not be applied directly to baseboards or tile edges. They are designed to be placed in the included bait stations or other recommended placement sites where ants can find them. Placing the liquid out in the open can attract pets or children and may dry out faster, so use the bait as directed on the label.
