Can someone just take the batteries out and open the window from the inside? Will it alert that batteries are low or out?


Hello Will. Thank you for your question. These are indoor sensors. The sensor uses 2 AAA batteries and a tiny Phillips. You can unscrew the battery compartment to swap or remove the batteries. The alarm comes with a sensor for battery level. You can check the battery level of the sensor in the app: Devices tab > Sensor > Battery %. Hope this helps. LV - Swann Team
