Will this work for a metal roof


The base plate of this roof flashing is rigid. To use it with a metal roof, you will need to build a curb. That will give the flat base plate a solid, flat surface to attach to. If the chimney penetrates the roof, close to the peak, you can also look to use a partial sheet of the metal roofing. The upper portion can be tucked under the peak/ridge cap and it can overlap onto the upper portion of the roof flashing's baseplate. Secure and use silicone.
