I purchased my umbrella in 2020. It is not holding the solar charge more than 5 minutes now. Does the lithium battery need replaced?


The solar panel contains AA rechargeable batteries. And yes, after 4 years it may be time to replace those batteries. When you do, be sure to place the switch in the OFF position and allow the panel and those batteries a day or two in direct sunlight before resuming use of the umbrella's lighting feature.
