In product specs, it says "Pad" attached. Is "Pad" the same as an underlayment? Do I need to purchase separately an underlayment as well? I plan on putting these planks on concrete in my basement.

Hello George and thanks for your inquiry. Yes, the Style Selections definitely have an attached "pad" or "underlayment" and does not require any additional. However, when installing the vinyl flooring on concrete subfloors, we do require adding a 6 mil polyethylene plastic vapor barrier over the concrete to prevent moisture from inhibiting mold and mildew growth under the flooring.
