Can a polyurethane floor coating be used over this LVP flooring once installed for additional protection? I've seen this done successfully with some other brands of lvp. If it can be done do you have a product recommendation?

Hello Christim and thanks for your question. The Style Selections Luxury Vinyl Plank comes with a factory urethane finish, and an application of a seal coat is not required. However if used, it will definitely affect the maintenance protocol, and will also void the manufacturer's product warranty. For regular maintenance, we recommend using a neutral pH based cleaner that is designed for vinyl flooring along with a bonnet mop. We would also recommend reviewing the Installation and Warranty Guidelines (found in each carton or on the product page of the Lowe's website).
