Does this floor have a STR (sound transmission rating). I live in a condo and HOA requires 70 and above. So if this below, can you have a underlaymen

Hello Christine - thank you for your inquiry. The Style Selections Jute Oak 4.4mm has a STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating of 50. Even if you add an additional approved LVT underlayment, you will not achieve 70. (And we don't recommend adding additional underlayment to a product that already comes with a pre-attached pad. There is more risk than reward.) We are not certain if there is a LVT on the market that will have such a high STC rating of 70. It would need to be a much thicker LVT.
