Does this flooring need a vapor barrier on a concrete slab, I live in Las Vegas Nevada.


Hi Tony - thank you for your inquiry. For the ProCore Plus Jamestown Hickory LVP, yes - it is recommended to have a vapor barrier on top of the concrete slab prior to installing this flooring. This could be at a minimum a 6mil black plastic. There is also a few LVT/LVP underlayments that also serve as vapor barriers. Such as the Soft-n-Sound, fanfold product.
