Will an area rug stain the flooring? We have a large area rug and are unsure of the backing type

Hello Eric - thank you for the question. Area rugs are fine as long as they do not have a rubber type backing. The oils from the rubber will react with the surface of the LVT over time and could cause some discoloration. Area rugs with no backing or a felt backing are better with LVT / LVP. Hope this helps.
