I'm looking to install in a finished basement over a polished and high gloss sealed concrete floor. Do I need a vapor barrier? If yes, what type?


Hello Rick - Yes, please use a 6mil black poly vapor barrier on top of the concrete first. Lowe's carries various size rolls of this 6mil vapor barrier. Please look in the Flooring department as well as the Building Materials department. Thank You -
