What do I put underneath


Item #1022241 states that it is "approved for use with all LVP flooring with and without attached underlayment sold at LOWE’S." So what is it? This or a 6 mil vp that is needed???

Hello Marni and thanks for your question. The Style Selections Jamestown Hickory LVP already comes with a pre-attached underlayment, so no additional "underlayment" is needed or required. However, if installing on a concrete subfloor, we do require installing a 6-mil polyethylene plastic vapor barrier over the concrete before installing the flooring. Please refer to the Installation Instructions (found in each carton or on the product page of the Lowe's website) prior to installation.
