At what run length do you expand your expansion gap along wall. say a 20ft run verses a 40ft or 60ft run?

When installing a Style Selections Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank, the maximum run is 85 linear feet in length or width without adding a transition strip (t-molding) and widening the expansion joints from 1/4" to 1/2" around the perimeter of the room. This will allow proper expansion and contraction to happen with heat and humidity, and will also keep the manufacturer's product warranty intact.
