I am ordering a large amount. I was told that you have to ask for the same batch so the patterns will match. Does anyone if this is correct?

Hello Angel - thank you for your inquiry. What you are referring to is the "run number / date code" that is printed on the ends of the cartons. And yes, having the same run number / date code for your entire project will ensure that the the look remains consistent throughout. For example, if you were to purchase a pallet of the ProCore Plus Jamestown Hickory, all of those cartons would have the same run numbers on the ends. But if you needed 2-3 additional cartons, you would want to make sure those were pulled from a pallet with those same numbers. Please keep in mind, even cartons from the same run number still need to be mixed and matched during the installation. Planks also have repeat patterns. So one carton may have 8 pieces but there could be 4 patterns - 2 of each pattern. It's suggested in the instructions to pull from several boxes at once while you are installing your flooring project. Hope that helps answer your question(s). Thank You -
