What's the best way to cut this product? It should be shorter, to accommodate the backsplash thickness. I can't see how someone would use this alone.

Client got a damaged one at a discount. It's not clear to me if she got this exact splash but it's not 22" as shown, it's 21-3/4", no cutting needed.

Hello Mike, Thank you for your question. We are very sorry but we do not recommend modifying the sidesplash, as this will void your 1-Year Limited Warranty and may compromise the integrity of the material. Nevertheless, we have received feedback from past customers that have been able to use a circular saw with a masonry blade, cutting from the unfinished side, without any damage. However, we do need to point out that the edges you alter will show white as the finish goes only 1/8 in. through the sidesplash material. We hope this helps. Best Regards.
