Are these solid wood? and what kind of finish coat was used? where were these manufactured?

Hello, Thank you for your question and interest in this product. Yes, these rods are made of solid wood. Unfortunately as these are imported we do not have the specifics on the finish coat however it is typically a lacquer. These are produced in China.
