The instructions do have a parts list and the contact info to the manufacturer if you need to order replacement parts. Ordering an additional shelf may be possible directly from the manufacturer, but I did not see additional shelves available at Lowes store.

I bought two large storage bins to slide under it for shoes, two storage bins for socks and accessories that rest on the bottom shelf, and a hanging shelf thing with 7 compartments for things I can't put on a hanger. None of this stuff is specifically made for this unit, but works well with it. Pretty much anything you can hang on a rack in your closet you can hang in here.
