On the device it says 90-130 volts. But the instructions show hooking it to 240 volts. Which is correct?


Both are correct. Standard residential service is two incoming 120V feeds that are 180 degrees out of phase, so the voltage measured across the two lines is 240V, while each line individually is 120V.
