Does the warranty require this to be installed by an electrician and what size breaker is needed?


It's recommended to use a 20 A 2 pole breaker to feed the HEPD80. The SPDs are furnished with #12 AWG, solid wire measuring approximately 20-24". With regard to any Square D branded Home Electronics Protective Device (HEPD, catalog number HEPD80) that has been properly installed in a residential home and in compliance with all applicable electrical code requirements, Schneider Electric USA, Inc. (“Schneider Electric”) warrants to the homeowner at the time of such installation. Warranty documentaion number 8291-0202A available on internet. Regards, Customer Care
