Can this be mounted to a sub panel instead of the main panel? The main panel is maxed out but I have room for additional breakers in the sub panel.


There is an option for Direct Bus Wiring so you do not need any breaker slots. See Fig 4 on Page 6: https://download.schneider-electric.com/files?p_e

I would not mount on a sub panel. You want it as close to the incoming feed as possible. See my review, I bought a SquareD QO20303020 that let me split one slot into 2 - two pole breakers. Other manufacturers have similar devices.

The recommended installation would be using a 20a breaker installed as close to the main breaker as possible. Please contact Schneider Electric TVSS Group at 800-577-7353 for additional options.
