can this surge protector be mounted outdoors to an entrance panel ?


Yes, it is now rated NEMA 4X which allows for outdoor installation with additional corrosion resistance (hence the X in the 4X). The information from Schneider below is out of date. You can see my review for more information on my outdoor install.

The HEPD80 does not carry a NEMA 3R rating which is what is required for outdoor mounting. Unfortunately we do not carry a Home Electronics Protective device that is rated for outdoors.
