When changing filter use plenty of vaseline on the O rings then it will n+ot- leak

It is easiest to unscrew from he pipe coming out of the wall and deal with it and shower head in the sink. One of those rubber grip pads from the kitchen will help get it unscrewed. The cap on the outlet (shower head) side unscrews from the rest of the filter housing. Be sure to peel the label off the replacement cartridge before sealing it back up.
