How many in package? Does it kill termites? How installed? Safe for children/pets?

I got the boxes with 15 per package. Biggest difficulty is all the measuring to make sure they are the right distance from the building and go all the way around. We used them around a church, so it was a much bigger perimeter than most homes, making it that much more work. My understanding from the packaging is that they are safe for kids and pets as long as neither decides to eat them or play with them. They aren't like a spray - they just sit in the ground and attract the pests who then eat the bait and become sterile.

get a sump pump and get rid of the water. seal the basement, then spray the heck out of it and leave for the weekend.
