what size hole in ground and how do you drill it in?

This kit comes with an augur to place the stakes manually. To create a hole, push down and twist the auger clockwise 3 to 5 revolutions. Repeat as necessary until the hole is approximately 7 inches deep. To use the auger in an electric drill, insert the shaft into the drill. Drill a few inches at a time, then pull the auger from the hole and remove accumulated soil.
