Xander my friend you are wrong #8 is only good for 55 Amps

The #8 wire you selected is too small. For a 60 amp feeder you need a minimum of #6s. You should do a load calculation and then use an online voltage drop calculator to determine the correct size to minimize voltage drop for your load and length of feeder. You need to limit voltage drop to about 5%.
