Southwire SIMpull® THHN— including the 8 AWG stranded copper (Model #20488312)—uses annealed copper per ASTM standards, but it is not manufactured or marketed as 100% Oxygen‑Free Copper (OFC). No. Oxygen free is typically used in audio installations to prevent corrosion between the strands of very fine stranded wire. This is electrical wire and is not made in the same way.
