Was this Answer Helpful ? The product is copper wire in a cable. There are several sorts of protective coverings for the wires in a cable. There are metal cables, and there are non metal cables. In an nm-b cable, the covering is a kind of PVC......non metallic. If you want to make some real bucks, invent a cheap plastic wire. Copper wire is expensive!
