Read All Questions & AnswersHas 14/2 always been white and 12/2 always been yellow? Looking to wire a range hood into existing old white wire and want to make sure.

No. My home was built in the 90s and both 12 and 14 gauge wiring are in white sheaths. The gauge is printed on them, however.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Not sure from Southwire, but in general no. I have 12/2 and 12/3 wire I ran a decade ago and they were both white. I like the colors now.
