No — 10/3 NM‑B is only rated for a 30‑amp circuit and is not suitable for most electric stoves, which typically require a 40‑ or 50‑amp 240‑V circuit using 8/3 or 6/3 NM‑B depending on the appliance. Was this Answer Helpful ? Most electric ranges require a 40 amp circuit using 8-3 NM-B cable and some require a 50 amp circuit using 6-3 NM-B cable. This 10-3 NM-B cable must be protected at no more than 30 amps.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I don’t recommend using 10/3 for anything above 30 Amps. Most stoves are 50 Amp requiring at least 8/3. I prefer to go up one size and use 6/3.
