Was this Answer Helpful ? I don't see why you couldn't. Each wire is insulated inside the sheathing. Wouldn't it be easier to pull through with the sheathing on and just remove it from the ends where it comes through?
Was this Answer Helpful ?I have seen this done many times but have never done it myself. If it is only a 4 foot run it seems the romex should fit in the conduit, if is doesn't fit I would check the conduit/ wire fit chart to see if the conduit ou have is sized correctly. Actually I would just call and ask a licensed electrician.
Was this Answer Helpful ?You can leave jacket on .. It will fit greenfead flex..
Was this Answer Helpful ?No, NM-B cable is not approved for use without the sheath, not even in conduit.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I don't think that Code Enforcement would be happy about the ground being bare. A short would electrify the entire conduit, albeit briefly. I really can't say for sure, but then, neither you, nor was paid for our contribution here. I would not do this myself. Good luck in getting the correct answer.
Was this Answer Helpful ?My step son is an electrician and I asked him and he says in so many words I don't see why you can't.
