Can I use this 10/2 wire for a 220v air compressor?

But you have 120/240 volts to your home. You can use this CABLE for a 240 volt circuit up to 30 amps.

This 10-2 will probably work for a 240 or 230 volt air compressor provided that the full load amperage required is not over 30 amps. 220 volt service hasn't been available in this country for around 80 years.
