The correct answer is no. If you are using romex type UF is required. Plan on a large conduit for that long of a run. Otherwise something on the order of TWWN. I wouldn't recommend THHN as that outer coating can eventually start picking up grounds in a damp pipe. The NEC does not limit the length of a conduit run before some type of box or condulet is required, but a maximum of 360 degrees of bend is allowed before one is needed. I would recommend using a shop vac to suck the proper sized sponge mouse with shot line attached. Use this to pull a heavier line through. Tip: The fastest way to get a line through is a CO2 bottle (fire extinguisher) adapted for a tight seal. However, good results can be had with a plastic baggy with the shot line securely taped to it. If solar is feasible it would be hugely faster And cheaper.

No. Underground conduit is classed as a wet location. NM-B cable is for dry locations only.

Not according to the NEC. By "code" you can use UF (gray jacketed) wire for direct burial. 18" deep in low traffic areas, 12" deep if GFCI protected. If you use conduit, you should use single strand wire. Black white and green. It comes on 500' rolls and yes, 3times as expensive. Also need to do a voltage drop calculation for the load over the distance to find the correct size wire.

It would be easier pulling individual lines through conduit and for that length

Check your local code. But you should be able to use it if you run it in a conduot.
