Yes Thhn and MTW are sold in Lowes. THHN is considered building wire and has a 90 degree rating so it is a very versatile wire to use. MTW is machine tool wire and has a softer jacket and is more suited in applications where you are wire a machine or mobile equipment with higher vibration. You need to see whether you need oil and gas resistance and the temperature of where the wire is used and the enviroment as far as dry or wet.
