Maybe, but the correct answer lies in the appliance's power requirements that can be found in the installation manual or on the appliance data plate. Some ovens are 240 volt and others require a 120/240 volt circuit. Some ovens will operate on a 30 amp circuit and others may require a 40 amp circuit. The 8-3 NM-B cable where you asked the question is good for a maximum of a 40 amp, 120/240 volt circuit.
