can this wire be ran in standing water?


This cable is for use in dry indoor locations only.

THis wire used for DRY locations only. Read the first questions answer which explains this very well: TomB2 on 09/30/2015 Type NM-B cable cannot be used outdoors or underground whether in conduit or not. Outdoor And underground conduits are classed as Wet Locations and Type NM-B cable is for indoor Dry Locations ONLY. You would be better off using Type XHHW or THWN separate conductors in conduit. Another option is to just direct bury 6-3 UF-B cable.
