Can this wire be use to wire in a hot tub from the main panel to a 50amp GFCI breaker to hot tub

Hello, and thank you for your question. Romex® SIMpull® NM‑B cable is only rated for dry, indoor locations and cannot be used to feed an outdoor or wet‑location load such as a hot tub, which typically requires THHN in conduit or UF‑B/SE‑R depending on your local code; NM‑B is not permitted for this application under NEC guidelines. If you have any additional questions or feedback, please reach out to us at consumersupport@southwire.com.

This 6-3 NM-B cable can be used to run from your main panel to the spa disconnect, but no further. NM-B cable cannot be used outside, not even in conduit as all outdoor conduits are classed by the NEC as wet areas and NM-B cable is only for dry indoor use. The NEC also requires that between the spa panel and the hot tub you have an insulated ground wire and NM-B cable has a bare ground wire. I would suggest for this last leg of the circuit to be compliant and safe you use non-metallic liquid tight flexible conduit with THHN/THWN-2 conductors. Lowes stocks and sells everything you need.
