Stay small?

Sunshine Ligustrum shrubs naturally grow to about 3 to 6 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide, making them a compact choice for borders or foundation plantings. However, they can absolutely be kept smaller through regular trimming. These shrubs respond well to pruning, and with light shaping once or twice a year, you can maintain a neat, smaller size to suit containers, tighter spaces, or formal hedges. Just be sure not to trim too late in the growing season, especially in cooler climates, to avoid encouraging tender new growth before frost.
