What size of bolt do you use? How long does the bolt need to be?


3/8" Carriage bolt fits perfectly into the Square hole of the D-Ring mounting bracket.

I used 5/16” x 3” deck stove bolts to fasten them to 2” x 4”’s boards in a utility trailer to haul a Honda Pioneer 500 UTV. Used 2” ratchet front and rear. Works great.

A 3/8" lag bolt fit pretty well. Length likely depends on your application.
