Do you have to have internet for this to work?

We have two of these. They do a good job. Actually, NO you do not need internet. This is an OTA (over-the-air) ONLY. You DO need INTRANET; The Tuned video is ditributed via your router and Cat 5. BUT no INTERNET input is required to use it. Internet MIGHT be needed for downloading drivers for setup, but thereafter not necessary.

Yes, web-based services and content will require a high-speed Internet service.
