what if i only have a black and white wire to the light ?


Connect the light WHITE, branch circuit WHITE, and sensor WHITE wires; connect the branch circuit BLACK and sensor BLACK wires; connect sensor RED and light BLACK wires. All installations must be in accordance with local, applicable codes and should be done by a licensed electrician.
