Is there a rubber belt that propels the brush? If so, does it break or come off often while vacuuming?

Shark Navigator®’s intelligent electronic system will shut off the power nozzle motor to avoid belt wear if the brushroll is blocked by a large object, such as a sock or carpet edge.
