How to "sprinkle" dust in carpenter bee holes that are in top of door frame?

Hello, Carpenter Bees burrow into wood and lay eggs. Sprinkling around the hole won't work because the bee may not contact the Sevin Dust. Unfortunately it is challenging to sprinkle dust up into a hole. Sevin Dust is applied over plants or grass. A lawn and garden specialist at your local Lowe's should be able to help you find a spray that you can use inside of the burrow. Thank you
