I am laying large format tile (12"x24") that is 1/4" thick. Should I size up to 3/8" or 1/2"? Or will the 1/4" trim still work?


Usually on a large format tile we suggest going to a profile 1 size larger to accommodate the extra thin set required to set these tiles. In this case using ¼” tile you could move up to a 5/16 or a 3/8 if you are more comfortable with that size.
