How long is the water discharge hose from the machine to the drain?

I don't know the exact length, but the hose starts about 12" from the bottom of the machine, so if you add the 15" pedestal, that's a little over 2 feet. I'm going to guess, without pulling mine out of the drain that it's about 4-5'?
Was this Answer Helpful ?Not 7', the drain hose seemed a little short and it is built-in. That said the drain hose is a standard variety and I just added about 2 feet from my former washer.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Samsung recommends a vertical discharge of no more than nine feet, with a maximum of thirteen feet in any direction, based on the pump's capability. The drain hose that comes factory installed on your washer is approximately 6' long, and can be extended by purchasing another section of hose, then attaching it to the original hose by clamping them together with a steel sleeve.
