is it normal not to see alot of soap suds during the wash?


Yes, it's normal. You are supposed to use HE soap, which doesn't suds as much, which makes it easier to rinse with the HE washer.

I see little, if any, suds. HE detergents have "suds suppresors" so I am viewing this as normal.
